Frequently Asked Questions

Additional information and FAQs on Kidsitters Registration

How much does a babysitter get paid?

Our bookings are a minimum of 2 hours. Daytime bookings from 6 AM – 6 PM get paid RM10 per hour, evenings bookings 6 PM – 6 AM get paid RM9 per hour, weekend bookings get paid RM6 per hour.

Do I automatically get work once I fill out the application?

Once you complete the application, our team will review it and be in touch with you to schedule an interview if you match our needs. If you clear the interview, and your references are excellent, then you will be added to KIDsitters and you will start getting work.

How much work will I get?

It depends on your availability and if you are available to cover bookings throughout the cities we cover in Malaysia.

Does KIDsitters request the JKP licence on behalf of the babysitter?

Unfortunately, KIDsitters does not request the enhanced JKP certificate on behalf of the babysitter. Please ensure you have a clean and up-to-date enhanced JKP certificate prior to having the interview.

What's the time frame to get a response to my registration?

You should hear back within 10 working days after the submission of the registration.

Who can I put down as a reference?

Parents you’ve worked for or line managers at the child-related place of work.

Which documents do I need to register?

You’ll need an enhanced JKP certificate, a valid IC, Paediatric First Aid (not mandatory) and a professional photo of yourself.

Do I get feedback if my application was unsuccessful?

Due to the number of registrations we receive, we are unable to provide feedback.
